NemoLab organizes a Hackathon: An event to develop our own creative or useful projects in a collaborative and playful atmosphere. The focus is on experimenting, trying out and playing with software and hardware. Think of the possibilities; there are plenty of measuring devices and sensors in the NemoLab; let's put them to use!

The NemoHack is a voluntary and informal meeting, in which everyone is equally entitled to participate. There are no teachers, no homework, no exams :). Everyone is a student of the project they are interested in.

Want to join in?

We are happy about anyone who is interested! However, our resources are finite, which is why we have to limit the number of participants to about 25.

The 3rd NemoHack is planned for summer semester 2024, on April 26+27.

Projects?

On the Projects page we are collecting some ideas. (Note: The project page may not be up to date. Check the channel in MS Teams for the most recent ideas.) Of course, everyone is invited and encouraged to come up with their own projects and bring them along! Projects don't have to be scientific; games are perfectly fine, too.

However, there is no guarantee that everyone will be able to carry out their own project. On the one hand, our resources are limited, and on the other hand larger projects need to be implemented collaboratively in the limited time. So it is also perfectly fine to join an interesting project without having your own project.

Projects!

Please share your project ideas here on GitLab or via MS Teams. You can then decide on a project that interests you, so that project groups can come together. Also feel free to ask the orga team to estimate whether this is feasible with our existing resources, or what we would still have to prepare until the event. Again, it's perfectly fine to just drop by and get inspired once you're there.
